Prior to signing to Warner Music Canada, Flemings took full control of his music, mixing and mastering most of his projects alone since his early teens. Flemings’ big break came when “Drive Me Crazy,” the lead single to his first studio LP, Forever Wanted More, landed on Spotify’s “New Music Friday” U.S. playlist, amassing millions of plays globally.
The exposure led him to Juno Award Winning hip-hop producer Michael Lantz, who produced the entirety of Fleming’s second album, Mascara Tears, resulting in Flemings’ most polished product yet.
Yet, aside from his exceptional delivery and direction that make for potential chart-topping material in both the R&B and Trap realms alike, CJ Flemings is a lyricist at his core.
