Last update: April 16, 2022.

CJ Flemings, ©2022 CJ Flemings, and Soft Spoken Spoken Co., LLC. (“Company, or “We”, “Us,” or “Our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information collected at or in connection with our website. This privacy policy (the “Policy”) applied to those U.S. and Canadian websites that display or link to this policy. This policy applies to data collected by us through our website and services that display these terms. This policy described the information we collect and how we use and disclose it. By visiting our website or using our services, you are accepting the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this policy, please do not use the website or the relevant services. We’ve reserved a section below for California residents.

1. Consent to collection and processing

This website and our services may be operated, in whole, or in part, from a country other than the United States. You consent to having your personal information transferred to and processed outside of the United States.

2. What information do we collect?

Our privacy policy is simple: except as disclosed below, we don’t sell, trade, give away, or rent your personal information to any company other than Soft Spoken Co., LLC., which operates this website, and its affiliate companies. One of the basic principles we’ve tried to follow is to limit the information we collect outside of being able to use such information to offer you our services, products, and updates, in which case would be made clear to you prior to us using said information. An example of this would be to process a transaction for an order placed on the website, or to send you content regarding a newsletter you’ve subscribed for by inputting your intended email address.

3. Personal Information

We only collect and store information that you provide to us, including through our website or through you contacting us directly through email. For example, when you place an order, we collect and store some or all of the following information that you provide: Name, Billing Address, Shipping Address, Email Address, Telephone Number, and Credit Card Number and Expiration Date. The sole purpose of this information is to successfully process a purchase you’ve made through our store. All payment information is encrypted and can only be authorized by our payment processing system. If you choose to apply certain discount codes when making purchases, we may store the information associated with that code — which may include, for example, a school or veteran status, and connect that information with your profile. We collect your email addresses if you subscribe to our newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions located within each newsletter.

4. Usage Information

Though your use of our website, we may also gather certain information about your use of our website (“usage information”). Generally, this information is collected through “traffic data”, a tool and service provided by most domain and website hosts. Our website is hosted on Squarespace. We are also able to view information regarding customer traffic patterns and site usage. This information is used to analyze and improve our website, to provide our customers and audiences with a fulfilling shopping and learning experience, and to personalize the website, our communications with you, and your experience.

5. How do we use cookies, and online tracking?

Like many websites, we may use “cookies” files stored on your computer’s hard drive by your browser to identify account holders and to optimize their shopping experience. Cookies can allow us to hold selections in a shopping cart when a user leaves the website without checking out, and send you a reminder email about your shopping orders and other shopping opportunities. Most browsers accept cookies automatically but allow you to disable them. We use SEO optimization on the website to help share relevant information when using a search engine.

6. Internet-based advertising

We may use Google analytics and Google Adwords, to measure and target ads on our behalf about our products, and services tailored to your interests.

7. Is information collected from children?

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from any minor under the age of 18.

8. How do we use your personal information?

We may use your personal information to provide the products and services that you have ordered or requested, to process and ship orders, to provide customer service, to provide other services to you, and to personal the website, our communications with you, and your shopping experience. Your information also may be used to contact you about sales, new products, new site features, special offers, new announcements and personalized offers based on your location, unless you have opted out to now receive any newsletter updates. We may also combine this information with other information we collect as you interact with us across apps, social media and sponsored ads.

9. Do we share your information?

These service providers have access only to such personal information needed to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information. They are restricted from using, selling, distributing, or altering this data in any way other than to provide the requested services.

Legal and safety disclosures — We may access or disclose information about you, including the content of your communications, in order to: (A) Comply with the law or respond to lawful requests or legal process; (B) Protect the rights of property of us or our customers, including the enforcement of our agreements or policies governing your use of our websites and services; or (C) act on a good faith belief that such access or disclosure is necessary to protect the personal safety of our employees (and employees of our partners and service providers), customers, or the public.
